With a full ‘in house’ range of design services and manufacture capability, our excellence in design interpretation and fabrication methodology, facilitates the creation of unique finishes and furnishings delivered by a dedicated team of unparalleled craftsmen. From initial design concept interpretation, through each stage of fabrication to the final fit-out and handover, we offer total Interiors Project Management, seamlessly delivered. 

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

With all our experience and comprehensive manufacturing services knowledge, Tekne are often requested to act as the main contractor on most projects. Our full site surveys mean that we can accurately develop each individual element in a project. Acting as the Principal, we coordinate with other trades with clarity and precision to ensure complete compliance and a perfect fit on site.

EXPERT DRAFTSMANSHIP

Using AutoCAD® and Inventor®3D modelling, our highly skilled technicians in our drawing office lead all projects through this critical stage, ensuring the development of innovative conceptual designs with true ‘buildability’. Pushing the boundaries of design, our draughtsmen continue to find the best manufacturing solutions – without compromising design intent.

SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP

Many of our carpenters and cabinet makers have been with us for over twenty years. True artisans, with a genuine love of detail and perfection, they are some of the most highly skilled craftsmen in the industry. Every crafted piece is developed with care and consideration of its aesthetic appeal. Having all of this knowledge and experience on site and under one roof delivers cabinetry and wood furnishings with unparalleled design detailing and craftsmanship.

Wood Mill & Machine Shop

With continual investment in state-of-the-art machinery, our wood mill facilities are one of the most technologically advanced Mills on the South Coast. We can deliver timber engineered solutions that make use of the latest in CNC technology, along with our full suite of traditional timber conversion machinery. Our technologically advanced machinery delivers a more efficient operating platform, immediate and responsive capability, with scale efficiencies - resulting in commercial benefits as well as shorter lead times.

SPECIALIST FINISHES

Our commercial spray and finishing facility caters for all of our clients interior finishing aspirations, providing real solutions to any aesthetic finish required. From traditional hand finished French Polishing, through a range of spray paint effects, our talented finishers are masters at surface mimicry.

Our cutting-edge Liquid Metal Technologies capability is a game changer… When handled by an experienced craftsman, this decorative metal coating enables the transformation on any substrate to appear as solid metal.

PRECISION INSTALLATION

Along with our precise carpentry and cabinetry capabilities, we have a unique veneering facility, where our highly experienced team have access to a fully stocked veneer warehouse to create any veneer desired.
In addition, our Marquetry team are able to interpret patterns and images, translating them with ingenuity and creative excellence, into some of the finest of examples of modern marquetry imaginable.
