Jamie Oliver's Diner
Gatwick Airport, South TerminalJamie Oliver's Diner was originally opened on Shaftesbury Avenue as a small pop-up restaurant back in 2013. Intended as a year-long residency taking inspiration from his trip to the USA and spawned the book Jamie's America, it is still going strong over 4 years later. Jamie Oliver's Diner now has a second location at Gatwick Airport along with the original London Diner.
Jamie Oliver's Diner at Gatwick Airport is the second addition to the portfolio of Jamie's Diner concept restaurants following on from the success of the original pop-up restaurant in Central London. With a classic, comfortable diner feel including cosy booths, a classic bar with high stools and an open kitchen area; the new Gatwick outlet is the perfect space to unwind before your flight.
Tekne were delighted to be appointed principal contractor for this large and high profile project on the airside section of Gatwick Airport's South Terminal. The challenging airport environment meant the project required meticulous planning and organisation to ensure that all guidelines and security parameters were met.
